I am a terrible insomniac, so I created Sleep with Rock Stars to feature what I could not find in other podcasts: a quiet voice talking about bands and musicians I like, to help me fall asleep.
Along the way, I discovered that listening to the same episodes over and over sometimes helped more than different stories or sounds. Repetition helped my buzzing brain be like, "Oh, yeah, now we chill out and go to sleep."
For some people, different background sounds help, too.
